| Be it paid or on a volunteer basis, done as a vocation or to pay the bills, white collar, blue collar, regulated or abusive, it governs the rhythm of our lives and defines our social standing. How work is perceived and experienced varies according to country, culture and economic conditions. The artists on display this year have attempted to illustrate this diversity, whether through their origins or by offering a perspective that is at times poetic or humorous, but often critical. |
